Noise, Vibration-Monitoring Platform Pitched to Investors at New Business Summit in Amsterdam
The Hague, Netherlands — January 29, 2018 — Decibel.LIVE, a decentralized organization pioneering the use of smart sensors to monitor noise, vibrations and air-quality levels in real time on blockchain, pitched to investors at the New Business Summit on Jan. 25. The event, held at Provinciehuis Zuid-Holland, was part of World Startup Factory’s Impact Accelerator #3 program.
Decibel.LIVE joined the WSF’s Impact Accelerator #3 in November. Other participants in this year’s cohort include Clensta, Elcies, Evalk, Gibbon, ModelMe3D, My Clean City, QDEPQ and Qlikchain.
The startups in WSF’s Impact Accelerator #3 will graduate in March.
“The experience so far has been excellent,” said Decibel.LIVE co-founder Vijay Kandy. “WSF chose startups that focus on solutions with positive impact. Our goal is to measure human impact on the environment, so our interests are aligned with WSF's. I am glad they are our partners.”
With a focus on business as a force for good, the World Startup Factory works with qualifying startups to gain industry-specific insights, connect to both local and international hubs, validate their ideas with potential customers and strengthen their business cases. Their focus is on growing startups that offer solutions that contribute to resilient cities, global public health, improved mobility, and environmental sustainability. Qualifying startups must have an impact-driven mindset and a compelling business case that addresses a pressing market need. They need to have a prototype or a Minimum Viable Product and a business proposition that can scale to other sectors/applications, cities, countries or regions.
In the past years, WSF has welcomed more than a dozen startups to accelerate their ventures in The Hague.
